Skull Purse

Here are some pics of the new dolly purse I made:

The dress is made by Dollheart, but the purse is by me!
(There will soon be a Dia De Los Muertos one as well!)

This little skull purse is fully functional (the next pic shows it open)
and is entirely hand sewn using embroidery techniques!
The strap is a beautiful, silk, hand dyed ribbon with an extra silk, hand dyed bow tied on.

Here it is open, as you can see, it has a snap closure, and you can put
fun little dolly things inside!

Pidge: It's so lovely out... but getting cold. Maybe I need a scarf?

This purse, along with the soon to come Dia De Los Muertos purse
are my own design, and will soon be heading to my
etsy shop!

A picture for Ginger @ bearbits

I just thought I'd share the following picture:

A while back, I asked Ginger if she could make me a Sebastian style bear...
but smaller, so it would be in scale with my Dollfie Dreams.

Ginger came through with flying colors.
This little guy is one well loved bear!

I actually make the purse my doll is carrying... but you can barely see it!
So here is a better picture:

Whatta Week!

Hello, everyone!

I have so much I need to write about...
new girls have arrived...
penpal letters have arrived...
and yet, instead, here's what I've been up to:

It all started with a harmless follow-up X-ray:

Which led to me hearing the X-ray technicians say things like,
"Never seen that before..."
and then the doctor saying,
"It looks like an innertube... that's NOT good...
this girl needs an appointment, STAT!"
Which led to me sitting here for a while:

Which led to me being rushed to the ER
and given one of these:

along with a CATSCAN,
in which the doctors found something they could only describe as...
Literally... that's the word they used.

So, I was admitted, and taken to surgery.
Offending articles were removed...
but the docs still aren't quite sure what's going on.

Evidently it looked like my abdomen was filled with scar tissue...
as if I'd have a surgery.
They must have asked me a million times if I'd had surgery
in my abdomen area... to which
I always answered NO... because I never have.

At least I had some pals with me, though.

Teddy Bears are always true, blue friends.
Ginger Brame makes VERY good hospital stay friends, in case you're ever in need.

Le Petit Macaron was there as well...
although she didn't want to be.

But she was stuck just like me
(she had gone with me to work that day)

At least there was a lot of food once surgery was over.
The place had room service from 5:30 am until 6:30 pm...
and I could call them as often as I wanted! 0_0

So yeah, that's where I've been for the last week and a half.
I DO NOT recommend this vacation!

On a happier note, Alna came with me to work today.
Her new wig is the Real Champagne color from Leeke... it's beautiful,
and almost the same color as my hair!

Custom Blythe

Well, quite a while ago
I got a Blythe in a trade.
I gave her a custom faceup...
but never got around to putting her back together!

Here she finally is all in one piece!

I have to say, I HATE assembling and disassembling Blythe dolls.
I'm not even sure I put her back together right...
I mean, her eye mechanism works...
but still...

I think she turned out pretty cute, but BOY does she look snooty!
Her eyelids DO open all the way, but I like them better half closed...
plus then you can see her pink with orange polka dot eyelids.
They're glittery too XD

She also has a small, very light, pink glitter heart under her one eye.

She has orange and pink makeup, with gold glitter eyeliner and pink sparkle lips.
I gave her nostrils, and did some mouth carving.

I didn't have eyelashes to put in her though, nor did I change any of her eye chips.

My problem now is... how do I sell her? LOL.
She'll come with her original body (which she's currently not on)
and the Pure Neemo body she's currently on.. which gives her
a little more head movement, but, IMO, has a less
sturdy head mechanism for a Blythe.

Buttons and Faeries

Nothing too major today, I'm still recouping from illness...
but I've listed a set of Pure Neemo related buttons in my etsy shop...
With more doll buttons to come:

I had leftovers from a con I did!
Also, a new creature has come to live here... but...

Who is it???

Joining the Zine Challenge

The challenge?

Create a Zine before July 1, 2013.

What is a zine?

Free, quick instructions on how to make one are here:
And for a bit more information:

I will be doing this, starting now!

Does anyone else care to join in?

Maybe there are some little bears who need a zine of their life story made?

Or some little RealPuki? XD

And I know there are some great artists out there who could make something wonderful!

There are no obligations to finish, or fees to enter, it's just a good ol' fun project!

I can do it myself!

Kidogo: I've got this!
Me: Are you sure? Do you have money?
Kidogo: Money?
Me: Yeah, you have to pay to mail things.
Kidogo: You mean you don't just drop the box in that metal bin thingy?
Me: Nope, that's just part of it. Sorry.
Kidogo: Ok, I don't got this.

No worries though, I helped a bear out and got the package mailed anyways.
Soon Sebastian will have a letter... and maybe a sweet little snack to enjoy :)

A little story...

Me: Hey Kidogo, whatcha up to?
Kidogo: Writing Sebastian, I said I would.

Me: Uhm, you know this is Christmas stationary, right?
Kidogo: Yes... but it was the only bear sized stationary you had with bears on it.
Me: Ah, well, yes, I guess it was.
Kidogo: You should look into that.
Me: Will do, good sir.

Kidogo: And, also, if it's not too much trouble, you should help me mail this, please.

Tiny Handmade Purses

Hi everyone.
It's me, Kana.
You haven't met me before, but I'm one of Heather's dolls.

I want to show off something that is available for purchase on Heather's etsy site here:

Isn't this so cute?
They are tiny purses!
They are all entirely hand sewn, with working snap closures...
they really hold stuff!!!
And they have embroidery details on them too!

Ella loves them too, they are perfect to carry a tiny Clefairy and a pocket book... plus, what's that? Ella even has some change!

Here is a detail of the light green purse! Look at those cute tiny flowers!

Ella wanted to show you the snap too.

What's this?! Even a Misaki thinks they're stylish????

Hahaha, this picture makes me nervous -_-;;;
But Heather says it's necessary to show how the purses look with Blythe bodies.

The red purse is pretty cute too. :)

Anyways, thanks for stopping by!
