Something to show...

I have decided to give a go at the W.A. Teddy Bear Challenge. Now... I might never create a bear I feel is worth sending, but I figured I could at least try!

I got the pattern on Monday and decided to do a test run with some excess grey fur I had laying around. It was the first time I made a bear this size, and it was also the first time I really used steel shot to weight the bear.

I think I over did it... this bear is heavy as heck! Granted, he drapes very nicely in your arms... but still! Holy cow!!

Anyways, here are some pics:

  1. He's a cutie pie Heather, I really love his face. You have to be careful not to weight too much, otherwise they cost a fortune to post...especially overseas!

Thumbs up for having a go...some never have the courage. Lets face it, what's the worst that can happen, no one is going to turn you into a green tree frog if the bear is not up to your own expectations. is in the eye of the beholder.

    Warmest Hugs,
