Cryptozoology and a giveaway

On the sloping hills of Mt. St. Helens lives a creature so hideous to behold that to merely speak its name will send local villagers running to shutter their windows and bar their doors. He is a beast of unspeakable terror (well... ok, maybe not THAT unspeakable)... ravaging the landscape in his endless search to feed his hunger!!!

He is...

BATSQUATCH!

Here is one of my newest little strange creations... a bat gone horribly wrong, Batsquatch is really quite friendly, despite the mythos of horror that surround him like a dark cloud. His face is needle felted and then hand colored with prismacolor markers.

My other creation is much more bat-like... He's a little Fruity Bat (oh yeah, fruity... or maybe I should say fruit-LOOPY)
I liked the way he looked better before I turned him, so I left him unturned... but as of yet, am not sure if I want to do a little extra embroidery around his edges or not.

He is even capable of hanging upside down!

Finally... Yesterday's Glitter is having a giveaway of cuteness! Check out my side bar, or right below, for a link to the giveaway! This is one of my favorite Blogs out there anyways... so even if you don't want to take part in the giveaway, you should check out the rest of it!

New Bear from a New Pattern! And link to a giveaway

Well... I had said I wanted to try my hand at a needle felted muzzle... so I did!
I LOVE IT! HAHA!

It didn't turn out quite like I pictured, but since it's my first try, I'll let this one slide. This little one isn't complete yet, (and no, that pin is not through it's ear, just kind of harmlessly clamped on to the outside)... they have a little Halloween friend and a few other embellishments.

I put coated wire in the arms for poseability and this little gal is made from faux fur, wool, suade and little plastic eyes.
Currently nameless (although Pumpkin springs to mind... wonder why?...) I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this little one.

Oh no! She dropped her staff!!

Bye!

Also! Gumi Gumi Island is having another lovely giveaway! Her stuff is just so cute! You will be able to choose one of the following little Halloween creatures!
